We are brewing a collaboration beer with our friends at Company Brewing. The beer will be sold as part of FemFest 2016.

Join us for the Historic Pabst Brewery Tour. We’ll enjoy a historical guided tour that will take us back to 1844 when Best & Company was born to present day. Tour fee includes a 16 oz. Pabst or Schlitz tap. Cost for the tour is $8. Event starts at 6 pm, tour departs at 6:30 pm.

We are very excited to announce that our 3rd Annual November Meeting Beer dinner this year will be a four-course beer pairing at Rumpus Room! The very creative chefs at Rumpus Room are putting together a delicious four-course feast, expertly paired with beers.
The meeting will take place at Rumpus Room, located at 1030 N. Water Street in Milwaukee. The cost for this event will be $40 per person. Social hour begins at 6 pm, with dinner at 7 pm.
As always, Barley’s Angels events are for the ladies only. We have an attendance cap of 50 women for this event. You must reserve your spot by purchasing a free ticket via Eventbrite for this event.

We are headed to Company Brewing in Riverwest for our October meeting. We’ll meet on Thursday, October 8th with social hour starting at 6 pm, meeting at 7 pm. Company Brewing is located at 735 E Center Street. You don’t want to miss this meeting – we have some awesome news to share! There is a $5 fee for this meeting. Please RSVP via Facebook.
Interested in learning more about beer or embarking on the journey to become a BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) judge? Classes for the 2015 – 2016 Sensory Analysis and BJCP training program are beginning in September.
Registration is now open for the first two classes. Additional classes will be posted in the coming weeks. To learn more about the 2015 – 2016 program head over to www.bjcpmke.com. All classes are $10.00 and conducted at Northern Brewer in Milwaukee on Saturday mornings. Sizes are limited. Classes are taught by BJCP National and Master ranked judges including a BJCP Exam Director and a BJCP Assistant Education Director.
We are really excited to announce that we are partnering with Emily Erler, Bierklasse Director at The Lowlands Group, for a series of 6 classes throughout the fall, winter and spring. The classes are ladies-only and we encourage you to bring your friends!
The first class will cover Belgian Tripels and is on Tuesday, September 15th at 7 pm. Here’s the full class lineup:
Each class will start at 7 pm and will be held at Cafe Centraal, located at 2306 S Kinnickinnic Ave in Bay View. The cost for each class is $30 per person (the Trappist class is $45). Each class includes snacks, Welcome Bier and class biers.
